About The Arrival & Resettlment Section
This section is for South Africans approved for the USA Refugee Resettlement program as they arrive in the United States and begin the resettlement process.
Here you will find information on what to reasonably expect from arrival at a USA airport through to settling into your permanent home.
It covers key areas such as temporary housing, permanent housing arrangements, food and clothing support, financial assistance provisions, and the practical help provided by your assigned case worker during the initial resettlement period.
The goal of this section is to help you understand the steps and support involved in transitioning from arrival to full settlement in your new community.
